Board

On our own behalf:

The Board of Directors and the members of the Insurance Institute of Switzerland, in the spirit of a long-term strategy, have decided to transfer all activities of the IIS into a body of the national education strategy. The Institute for Risk & Insurance within the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), School of Management and Law, has proven to be the ideal partner.
For this purpose, the board of the IIS has established all necessary contacts to ensure a smooth transfer of activities. Thus, the cooperation of the IIS with The Institutes has already been transferred to the ZHAW and the known programs will be reactivated from spring 2021.

The liquidation of IIS was published in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SHAB) on June 27, 2022.

 

 

These were our aims:

To support optimally the purpose of the education and further education in the branch, the IIS has received on the one hand the social structure of the association and, on the other hand, a board of directors which guarantees in an honorary capacity the narrow contact between institute and branches. The board of directors reflects the different interest circles and allows a very direct and effective exchange between market and institute.

However, the Management Board stands also for important values without an educational institution like the IIS would not work:

In solidarity the boards of directors co-operate in a job in the branch

Commonality

About the different aspects of the branch away they are all in the same boat

Transfer of experience

Experience and education should be transmitted

Generation contract

The board of directors takes over his part of the generation contract in the branch

Volunteerism

Away from real figure sighting to contents
